BiographyMr. Kaza Sudhakar is the Managing Director, BRBNMPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve bank of India. He represents the Company in various High Level Committees for policy making related to currency.He is a MBA graduate, Senior Executive Fellow of Harvard Kennedy School, Non-degree study, College of Business Administration, University of Cincinnati, USA. He is also a certified associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
About the companyBharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 1995, to augment the production of banknotes in India to enable the RBI to bridge the gap between the supply and demand for bank notes in the country. The BRBNMPL has been registered as a Private Limited Company, with its office situated at Bengaluru. The company manages 2 plants: one at Mysore in Karnataka and the other at Salboni in West Bengal. The present capacity for both plants is 24 billion notes per year on a 3-shift basis.
