The beautiful city of Basel in Switzerland is the venue for the World Banknote Summit 2017. Located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet, Basel can be easily reached from all over the world.

Basel is accessible by air (EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg), by rail (international hub on Europe's high-speed rail system), or by car. There are direct rail links to Basel from Zurich Airport (approx. 1 hour).

Regarded as Switzerland’s cultural capital and scenically positioning along the Rhine, Basel has a lot to offer its guests: museums, theatres, a medieval town center, shopping, and of course the possibility to enjoy the great outdoors in the Swiss Alps.
